Job summary

Walgreens is offering an accelerated Store Manager development program designed to train you across front-end and pharmacy operations. You will learn Walgreens’ operations, shadow the Store Manager, and rotate through stores while completing required certifications to qualify for a Store Manager role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or HS diploma with 5 years retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens assets located within the same hiring Area.
• Willingness to accept Store Manager assignment if offered.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens operations to lead one-box full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager and assist in leading store during learning journey.
• Complete accelerated program including all certifications needed for the Store Manager role.
• Attend classroom, online training and on-the-job training with rotations across area stores.
• Develop continuously in customer experience, operations, and people management.
