Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Management & Sales Training Program is an accelerated, entry-level position designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18–24 months. With Sherwin-Williams' promote-from-within philosophy, you will have the opportunity to progress into an Assistant Store Manager position upon successful completion of the initial 8-week training.

This position's typical schedule is 44 hours per week, which may include evenings and/or weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of the program.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with the program.
• Support strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through service excellence.
• Build and maintain product knowledge to recommend solutions.
• Develop positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training and performance management.
• Respond to customer and employee issues and resolve them.
• Partner with Store Manager for outside sales calls to grow market share.
