Sherwin-Williams invites you to join its Management & Sales Training Program in Fargo, ND. This entry-level track is designed to prepare you for a Store Management role in 18-24 months, with promotion to Assistant Store Manager after the initial 8-week training.

Expect a 44-hour weekly schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed. You will help oversee a million-dollar business, learn operations, sales, and strategy, and develop leadership, customer service, and professional networking

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by the start of this development program.
• Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. (frequently up to 50 lbs.).

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to provide effective recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration.
• Ensure compliance with policies including safety and loss prevention.
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to make outside sales calls to increase market share.
