Job summary

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) is hiring a Manager Trainee to support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months. The starting wage for this position is $18.50 per hour.

This role offers exposure to sales, operations, fleet management, and leadership development in a fast-paced, non-airport environment. The program emphasizes customer service, process discipline, and career growth within Hertz.

Qualifications

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Customer Service: support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience.
• Operations & Fleet Management: gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control; assist with store operations and compliance.
• Vehicle and Facility Care: support team with cleaning, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: learn finance processes and support deal completion and reporting.
