Job description

General Manager – Dallas

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 plus bonus.

The Fast Track Training General Manager (GM) will create passion and enthusiasm for the company vision: "To be the most loved and best run restaurant in North America." The GM will ensure that standards are executed flawlessly throughout the restaurant operations every day and will demonstrate the wisdom and experience that other GMs will gravitate to and want to work for. This role is responsible for the overall smooth operation of the restaurant, bar, and kitchen, and the delivery of outstanding food quality and service model excellence through teamwork, motivation, and strong leadership. The GM also works closely with kitchen teams as a partner and mentor, overseeing food standards, guest service models, and bill times. After completing 6 months of training, the GM will be approved to manage their own restaurant. Relocation expenses will be covered for candidates moving from another U.S. city.

Key Activities

• Responsible for creating and enhancing a restaurant culture that drives excellence in revenue, service standards, product quality, dynamic culture, morale, and profit management.
• Establish, direct, and review performance standards with the front‑of‑house team to ensure a consistent wow experience for every guest.
• Monitor, direct, and coordinate standards within the building and maintain a timeless environment.
• Work with approved budgets, operating within guidelines for costs, expenses, sales, and profits.
• Oversee recruitment, training, development, and mentoring of current leaders.
• Handle disciplinary action and performance management of management team members.
• Conduct frequent audits to ensure excellence in all areas.
• Address guest‑related complaints and coordinate proper follow‑up.
• Operate the restaurant daily during peak periods.
• Prepare weekly financial and operational reports, analyze results, and review variances from budgeted figures to meet yearly targets.
• Evaluate training procedures to ensure high levels of guest experience.
• Champion recognition and motivation efforts to position the restaurant as the employer of choice.
• Manage multiple programs and priorities with the leadership team.
• Coach the team on restaurant execution as a way of life.
• Maintain positive relationships with the team and the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of operational success, with proven multi‑year success as a senior restaurant manager/GM.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word, and POS systems.
• Knowledge of the casual dining market in your community.
• Exceptional work ethic and detailed communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging goals.
• Takes initiative and pursues opportunities with strong multitasking ability.
• Strong rapport and presentation skills.
• A college or university business degree in hospitality, restaurant management, culinary arts, or an equivalent business education is an asset.

Compensation Package

• $100,000 - $110,000 base compensation.
