Job summary

Journeys in Wyomissing is looking for a motivated District Sales Manager in Training to oversee multiple stores within the assigned district and develop the skills necessary to advance to a DSM role.

You will drive district sales, support staffing and training, and ensure compliance with Loss Prevention practices, while regularly visiting stores and reporting to regional leadership. A willingness to travel and strong customer focus are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in retail sales or store supervision.
• Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the district.

Responsibilities

• Achieve district sales goals and profitability targets.
• Support DSM in evaluating staff and developing action plans.
• Assist in staffing stores within the district and manage Loss Prevention.
• Direct store operations and enforce company policies.
• Recruit, interview, and hire store management candidates.
• Train and promote store employees within the district.
• Conduct regular store visits and communicate with DSM and regional teams.
