Job summary

Journeys is seeking a District Manager in Training to support the District Sales Manager in supervising retail store locations within the assigned district. You will develop the necessary skills to perform the DSM functions and drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Achieve district sales goals and profitability targets.
• Assist DSM in evaluating people and performance, and developing action plans.
• Staff stores within the district and manage Loss Prevention practices.
• Direct store operations and enforce company policies.
• Recruit, interview, and hire store management candidates.
• Train, develop, and promote store employees within the district.
• Conduct regular store visits and communicate with DSM and corporate.
