Job summary

J.W. Pepper & Sons, Inc. is seeking an order picker for our distribution center in Georgia.

The role focuses on quickly and accurately filling customer orders while maintaining quality and productivity standards. Cross-training across shipping, packing, stock put away, replenishment, and basic receiving will support exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include verifying items, selecting proper bins, and ensuring correct quantities.

Qualifications

• Operate an RF scanner.
• In-depth knowledge of the warehouse layout.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes for long hours.
• Must be positive and friendly with the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Pick ordered items from correct bin locations using barcodes and item numbers.
• Verify item and quantity ordered.
• Place items picked into the appropriate shipping box or slotted tote.
• Repack order boxes to the appropriate size when needed.
• Perform regular shelf maintenance to ensure product quality.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and stocked with necessary supplies.
