Job summary

J.W. Pepper & Sons, Inc. seeks an Inventory Control Associate at our Georgia distribution center.

The role focuses on maintaining accurate inventory, tracking movements, and communicating issues to management. All associates will be cross-trained in order fulfillment, quality control and shipping for a high level of customer service. Starting wage is $17.00 per hour with potential overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory control and cycle counting.
• Ability to lift 30+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including weekends for peak season.
• Successful completion of pre-hire screenings (background/drug).

Responsibilities

• Daily stock put away and organization.
• Daily cycle counting and restocking activities.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and discrepancy reporting.
• Cross-train in order fulfillment, quality control, and shipping.
• Operate RF scanner to update counts and records.
• Follow inventory procedures and safety guidelines.
• Assist receiving when needed and product kit creation.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
