Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in automotive or customer service preferred.
• Previous experience in automotive service advising or retail customer service is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and automotive terminology a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using computers, dealership software (DealerTrack), and Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet Quick Lane customers promptly and courteously.
• Consult with customers to identify service needs and recommend maintenance or repairs.
• Write repair orders, provide cost and time estimates, and obtain customer authorization.
• Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of services.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process and timelines.
• Promote dealership services and maintenance packages (tires, brakes, oil changes).
• Handle customer questions, concerns, or complaints professionally.
• Perform walk-around vehicle inspections and document visible damage or wear.
• Close repair orders, review completed work with the customer, and process payments.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up with customers as needed.
• Keep the Quick Lane area clean and customer-friendly.
