Domino’s is seeking Prep Cooks to ensure food safety and efficient prep in a fast-paced environment. You will organize, date, rotate, and prepare ingredients for line cooks, while adhering to safety procedures. Candidates should be team players with strong time management and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Education is flexible; Texas Food Handlers certification is required, and prior restaurant experience is a plus. The role involves standing long shifts in a warm, busy store setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum work experience; 1 year restaurant experience is a plus.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
• Willingness to comply with all food safety procedures.
• Detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Following all food safety guidelines.
• Receiving truck deliveries, inspecting items for damage or missing goods.
• Dating, rotating, and storing all products on the day of delivery.
• Pulling data daily for prep needs for a 48 hour period.
• Prepping products according to Domino’s standards.
• Proofing dough for 24 hours, dating and re-cooling.
• Maintaining proper temperatures of products while prepping.
• Checking temperatures of refrigeration units.
• Dating all products according to Domino’s dating standards.
• Prepping all cooking PRPs, including sandwich mats and papered pans.
• Maintaining sanitation of prep area and areas exposed to food.
• Reporting safety hazards and maintenance needs.
