Job summary

Domino's is looking for a diligent Prep Cook to join our team in Pecos, TX. You will support line cooks by sourcing and organizing ingredients, maintaining sanitation, and ensuring food safety standards are met in a busy environment.

The role requires the ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 30 pounds, and comply with all safety procedures. Prior restaurant experience and a Texas Food Handlers certificate are preferred, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Minimal work experience; 1 year restaurant experience is a plus.
• Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8-10 hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed.
• Receiving truck deliveries, checking in products and examining for damage or missing goods.
• Dating, rotating, and storing all products received on the day of delivery.
• Pulling data daily for prepping needs for a 48 hour period.
• Prepping all products according to Domino's standards.
• Proofing dough for 24 hours, dating and re-cooling.
• Maintaining proper temperatures of products while prepping.
• Checking temperatures of all refrigeration units.
• Dating all products according to Domino's dating standards.
• Prepping all prep items; sandwich mats and papered pans.
• Maintaining sanitation of prep area and exposed surfaces.
• Reporting any safety hazards and maintenance needs.
