Job summary

Domino’s is seeking a Prep Cook to support line cooks by ensuring a steady supply of prep-ready ingredients. You will operate in a fast-paced kitchen, maintain strict food safety standards, and coordinate with delivery and prep teams to keep the line moving.

The role requires the ability to stand long shifts, lift up to 30 pounds, and follow Domino’s procedures for dating, rotating, and storing products. Training on the job is provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year restaurant experience is a plus.
• Texas Certified Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Ability to stand or walk for 8–10 hour shifts and lift at least 30 pounds.
• Detail-oriented and careful with food safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all food safety guidelines are followed.
• Receiving truck deliveries and inspecting them for damage or missing goods.
• Dating, rotating, and storing all products on the day of delivery.
• Pulling data each day for prepping needs for a 48 hour period.
• Prep all products according to Domino’s Standards.
• Proofing dough for a 24 hour period, dating and re-cooling.
• Maintaining proper temperature of products while prepping.
• Checking temperatures of all refrigeration units.
• Dating all products according to Domino’s dating standards.
• Prepping all cooking PRP’s. Includes Sandwich mats and papered pans.
• Maintaining sanitation of prep area and any area where food may be exposed to.
• Restocking dipping cups, soda machine(s) and boxes.
• Reporting any safety hazards and maintenance needs.
