Job summary

Nacho Daddy invites applications for a Part-Time line cook position at our St Rose/Henderson location in Nevada. You will prepare and cook a variety of dishes using broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers, following our recipes and safety standards.

Qualified candidates will have a current Food Handler Safety Card, the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment, and at least 6 months of kitchen experience.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handlers Safety Card or equivalent.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ kitchen preparation and cooking experience preferred.
• Clear communication with managers and staff.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
• Compliance with management requests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods using meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables with broilers, ovens, grills, and fryers.
• Maintain clean, stocked prep area and sanitize equipment.
• Follow portion sizes, recipe cards, and plate presentation standards.
• Keep work stations organized and labeled.
• Ensure timely cooking and delivery of dishes.
• Open/close prep area and kitchen checklists.
