Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Designated Selling Associate (DSA) to drive sales and deliver exceptional customer service in a fashion-forward environment. You will educate customers on brand trends, maintain product knowledge, and build lasting relationships while collaborating with stylists and other teams.

You’ll engage in in-store and digital selling, participate in product knowledge meetings, and contribute to a well-merchandised department.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with customers.
Ability to excel in a competitive team environment.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Ability to read sales reporting in relation to goals.
Understand how to educate customers on new and emerging brands.
Confidence with high/low price points and the ability to showcase value to customers.
Understanding of customer’s holistic wardrobe and style, with organized follow-up.

Responsibilities

Set and achieve sales goals in-store and via digital channels using selling tools and reservations.
Build lasting relationships with customers.
Provide honest feedback on style, fit, and value to customers.
Attend trainings to build fashion and product knowledge.
Lead product knowledge sessions with DSAs, Stylists and other departments.
Open Nordstrom Rewards accounts to grow customer base.
Maintain a ready department through stocking, merchandising, and display updates.
