Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager who will blend business strategy with hands-on operations and people leadership.

You’ll drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, and oversee opening/closing routines while maximizing store efficiency. You’ll recruit, train, and develop staff, coach team members, and maintain brand standards through product knowledge and compelling visual displays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Ability to coach others and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing routines.
• Supervise salesfloor and stockroom to ensure excellent customer service and seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets and perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
