Job summary

H&M is seeking a Sales Advisor in California to deliver exceptional customer service and guide shoppers through fashion trends and our omni-channel experience. You will promote products, loyalty app, and sustainability initiatives while representing the brand in every interaction.

You’ll work with the store team to achieve sales targets, maintain store standards, and stay current on fashion trends. This role emphasizes teamwork, learning, and compliant operations in a dynamic retail

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and OMNI experience where available.
• Willingness to engage and have conversations with customers to provide excellent service.
• Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store.
• Ability to promote and sell our products to customers.
• Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives.
• Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions.
• Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management team.
• Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors, and relevant influencers.
• Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information to customers.
• Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues.
• Follow procedures, routines, and legal requirements in all areas of the store.
• Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other.
• Participate in onboarding, introductions and trainings relevant for your role and future development.
• Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and ensure good garment care.
• Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes.
• Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house.
• Support garment presentation and maintain attractive merchandise displays and clear trends and stories.
• Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor.
• Follow in-store OMNI services and tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store).
• Support opening and closing of the store.
• Follow H&S guidelines and legal requirements.
