Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking a farm worker in Tennessee to manually maintain and repair irrigation systems, load products for transport, and operate farm vehicles. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and the flexibility to perform seasonal tasks on a working farm.

Job description

Manually maintain and repair irrigation systems including tires, gears, nozzles power units on our farm in preparation for growing season using hand tools; winterize watering systems to prevent damage from winter weather; load agricultural products into trucks to be taken to market or storage facilities; drive farm vehicle to move watering pipe; Must speak English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 1 months

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
