H2ajobs in Kulm, North Dakota, is seeking a farm laborer to perform a variety of manual tasks on the farm. You will use hand tools, help harvest, clean, repair, and assist with grain handling, and you must comply with safety protocols.

Housing and meals are provided. Transportation to stores is arranged weekly, and prior experience of 6 months is preferred. You must be able to lift up to 70 lbs and may be subject to a random drug test after hire.

• Operate hand tools and assist with cleaning, repair, and maintenance of farm buildings and equipment.
• Participate in inspection, grading, sorting, and post-harvest treatment of crops.
• Load agricultural products into trucks and assist with transport to market or storage facilities.
• Direct and monitor casual and seasonal helpers as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use employer-provided safety equipment.

Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms, for sweeping, cleaning, crops; Repair and clean farm buildings, fences, and other structures as well as farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment including but not limited to tractors, conveyors, forklifts; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep bins with hand broom after grain is augured; Load agricultural products into trucks without over or under filling bed or trailer and drive to market or storage facilities; Direct and monitor the work of casual and seasonal help; Must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain bins; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment; Operate equipment for snow removal as necessary. Speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 6 months

Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
