Job summary

H2ajobs is seeking diligent farm laborers in North Dakota to perform grain/tank work, site maintenance, and general farm tasks. Employees will load products, assist with repairs, and follow safety rules on site.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 month of verifiable experience, can lift up to 50 lbs, and understand English. Employment includes housing and meals, with weekly grocery access provided by the employer.

Job description

Use hand tools such as shovels, scoops, brooms, for sweeping, cleaning, and repairing grain tanks and dryers; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures as well as farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, and post-harvest treatment of crops; Monitor moisture levels using moisture sensors in the scale house; Turning levers and knobs to dry grain, sweep bins with hand broom after grain is augured; Push and pile snow, manure; Clean work areas, and maintain grounds and landscaping; Load agricultural products into trucks and drive to market or storage facilities; Break ice and thaw frozen pipes; Must be able to work in dusty conditions and be willing to work inside grain tanks; Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate employer provided safety equipment. Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 1 months

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
