Job summary

H2ajobs in Texas seeks a farm laborer to assist with cattle care, feeding in multiple pastures, and hay handling. You will support calving season duties and help with fence work, using a tractor to feed animals.

Requires at least six months of verifiable experience, ability to lift 75 lbs, a valid driver's license after hire, and English communication. Housing and meals are provided by the employer, and weekly transportation to stores is included.

Job description

Work with cattle, feeding and putting out hay every day and in several different locations and pastures. Assist with calving duties during the calving season. Care for cows and nursing mothers. Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 6 months

Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
