Job summary

H2ajobs in Texas is seeking a farmworker to operate feed trucks and various equipment, manage cattle processing and feeding, and perform general livestock duties on a Texas farm. The role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols.

The position offers employer-provided housing and meals, plus transportation arrangements. Weekend/holiday work may be required, with wage options depending on experience and location. Training will be provided where needed.

Process cattle, call feeding, Sort/separate cattle. Pair, tag, and feed livestock. Check water, clean bunks and processing facilities. Maintain fence and farm structures & other related Farmworker, Livestock activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org).

Possible weekend/holiday work.

The employer may choose to pay experienced workers, regardless of origin, more than the published minimum wage rate. See attached Addendum C.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Depending on housing location, worker may have a kitchen available for use. In that case, The employer will furnish cooking facilities, utilities, and utensils for workers to prepare their own meals in the housing provided kitchen. Included basic appliances will consist of, but is not limited to, refrigerator, stove/oven, and sink with hot and cold-water connections. All appliances included will be in good, working condition for the workers. Employer will provide transportation to grocery store at least once a week for workers who wish to shop for food. Otherwise, 3 meals per day will be provided to those workers who do not have access to free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities (all workers who are residing in public accommodations). All meals will include a daily source of protein, vitamins, and minerals.

Transport: The employer will provide or pay for charter bus services or other modes of transportation to H-2A or U.S. workers, or permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved in traveling (a) to the place of employment from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer (i.e., inbound) and (b) from the pl...
