Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving financial results and delivering Legendary Customer Experience. You will provide leadership across sales, service, opening/closing routines, front-end execution, compliance, and operations.

The role aligns with store-volume leadership and may transition into Store Operations Manager ownership in designated stores, with a focus on team member development and store performance.

Qualifications

• Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations, drive sales and profit, plan and prioritize work, delegate daily tasks, and review ACT missions.
• Support Customer loyalty, selling skills, and product knowledge across the store.
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and bank deposits.
