Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving financial results, Legendary Customer Experience, and team development. The role provides leadership across sales, service, opening/closing routines, front-end execution, compliance, and store operations.

You will work with the team to deliver superior customer service, coach Team Members, and execute store plans.

Qualifications

• Retail leadership experience required.
• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or the equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and work scheduled shifts, including varied hours, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Assist the Store Manager with overall store operations, driving sales and profit, planning and prioritizing work, delegating tasks, and completing ACT missions.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach Team Members to reinforce leading with Legendary behaviors and selling skills.
• Support hiring efforts, Team Member training, coaching, and adherence to policies and procedures.
