Rural King in Glasgow, KY is seeking a Sales Consultant to provide knowledgeable sales support across agricultural, power equipment, farm, lawn and garden, tools, and home essentials. You will help customers find the right products and support sales, financing, special orders, and store operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; agriculture-related education or certifications preferred.
• Previous sales, customer service, retail, agricultural, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication, active listening, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use POS, inventory systems, Microsoft Office and retail technology.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsabilités

• Understand customer needs and budget to recommend products and solutions.
• Provide product information, explain features, and conduct demonstrations when needed.
• Build customer relationships through exceptional service and follow-up.
• Use upselling and cross-selling techniques to support sales goals.
• Provide product expertise across power equipment, farm equipment, tools, lawn and garden, and home essentials.
• Process sales, special orders, returns, and other transactions using POS.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and support store operations.
• Participate in cross-training and required training per company policies.
