Job summary

Assistance-Plus in Augusta, ME seeks a Family Support Specialist to work with the behavioral health home team, ensuring well-coordinated, integrated care for youth and families. Qualifications

• Three+ years of lived parenting/caregiver experience with at least one child/youth who had emotional, developmental, behavioral, substance use or mental health concerns.
• Maine driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance ($50K/$100K).
• High school diploma or equivalent; Parent/Family Peer certification preferred or provisional.

Responsibilities

• Work with the BHHO team to ensure well-coordinated and integrated care for youth and families.
• Provide leadership and technical assistance in developing and implementing family support services.
• Share experiences with families, co-workers, and community providers to support success.
