Job summary

Assistance-Plus seeks a Family Support Specialist to join its behavioral health home team in Maine. You will help deliver integrated care to youth and families, drawing on your lived parenting experience to guide families through child-serving systems.

The role requires a Maine driver license, vehicle insurance, and strong communication. You will provide training and share experiences with peers and community providers to enhance services and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of lived parenting experience with at least one child/youth
• Ability to articulate personal lived experiences to families and providers
• Commitment to sharing experiences to improve care navigation in child-serving systems
• Maine driver license and proof of vehicle insurance (50K/100K) are required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the behavioral health home team to ensure well-coordinated and integrated care for youth and families
• Provide leadership and technical assistance in developing and implementing BHHO family support services
• Share experiences with families, co-workers, and community providers to support success
