Job summary

Assistance-Plus in Maine is seeking a Family Support Specialist to collaborate with the behavioral health home team to deliver integrated care to youth and families served. The FSS will provide leadership and technical assistance in developing and implementing the BHHO family support services.

A willingness to share experiences with families, co-workers, and community providers is essential for success. The FSS must have three or more years of lived parenting experience with at least one child

Qualifications

Three or more years of lived parenting experience with at least one child/youth who had behavioral, emotional, developmental or mental health concerns.
Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K and a valid Maine driver’s license.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Entry-level computer skills.

Responsibilities

Work with the behavioral health home team to ensure well-coordinated and integrated care for youth and families.
Provide leadership and technical assistance in developing and implementing family support services.
Share experiences with families, co-workers, and community providers to support success.
