Job summary

Bowen Health seeks a Skills Technician to aid families by advocating, teaching, and modeling new skills toward self-sufficiency. The role may transport patients to appointments and provide case management and skill-building services at Bowen Health locations, in the community, or in patients’ homes.

The caseload may include child/adolescent or adult populations depending on location and need, with duties spanning intake review to documentation and coordination with care teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits required.
• Two years of mental health experience preferred.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required after hire.
• BLS and First Aid certification required after hire.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance required.
• Criminal and driving background checks required.
• Must be 21+ years old; 25+ to operate Bowen vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Review and update intake information for accuracy.
• Coordinate homemaker services with Case Manager as per care plan.
• Instruct patients in homemaker services including hygiene and daily living.
• Advocate, teach, demonstrate, monitor, and model appropriate housekeeping.
• Transport patients to appointments and assist with travel procedures.
• Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
• Other duties as assigned.
