Bowen Health in Indiana seeks a Skills Technician to support families by advocacy, teaching, and modeling daily living skills toward self-sufficiency, including transport to appointments when needed. The role may provide case management and home-based services across Bowen Health locations and in the community, serving child/adolescent or adult caseload as required.

Competenze

• Education: Associate’s Degree or 60 undergraduate credits, or High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years experience.
• Two years of experience in a mental health setting.
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification after hire and kept current.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and First Aid certification after hire and kept current.
• Valid driver’s license and active auto insurance.
• Satisfactory results from criminal and driving record checks.
• Must be 21+ years old; 25+ to operate Bowen vehicle.

Mansioni

• Review and update intake information for accuracy.
• Coordinate homemaker services with Case Manager as per care plan.
• Advise families on homemaker services, cleanliness, personal hygiene, budgeting, and daily living.
• Advocate, teach, demonstrate, monitor, and model housekeeping skills.
• Participate in medical appointments with staff and ensure progress and discharge planning.
• Transport patients to appointments in surrounding counties and perform basic vehicle maintenance.
