Sci Corp is seeking a Family Service Counselor in Chicago to serve client families with personalized service and drive revenue through pre-need and at-need cemetery arrangements. The role emphasizes lead generation, relationship building with families, and coordination with funeral home and cemetery staff.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, presenting solutions, and maintaining trust-based referrals, while working evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience.
• 1-2 years of customer service or sales industry experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license with acceptable driving record (as required by state).

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients and generate leads daily.
• Build and maintain relationships with families served or referred.
• Respond to inquiries in a timely, respectful, and professional manner.
• Present services and education on pre-need and at-need offerings.
• Coordinate with funeral directors and location staff to ensure seamless service.
• Prepare for appointments and follow through on customer requests.
