Job summary

The Gandara Center in Westfield, MA is seeking a Program Manager to lead the Westfield Family Resource Center. You will supervise day-to-day operations, coordinate with partner service providers, and manage community outreach and volunteer programs.

You will oversee staff, ensure confidentiality of records, and support family-centered services across behavioral health and community programs. Weekend/evening hours may be required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Program administration experience required.
• Experience with diverse populations in community settings using a family-centered approach.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass background checks.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Strong supervisory and delegation skills; independent organization of responsibilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Corel; and related office technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a volunteer recruitment and retention program; supervise volunteers.
• Greet and assist families; ensure staff coverage during operating hours; supervise daily operations.
• Collaborate with local community networks to link services and opportunities for families.
• Generate public awareness; design outreach plans; engage with courts, schools, police, and community groups.
• Ensure confidentiality of clinical records and manage data in Gandara’s EMR and UMASS systems.
• Provide culturally sensitive training and educational information to families.
