Job summary

The Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles seeks a dynamic Family Programs Supervisor to lead participatory arts and culture programs for children and families, including drop-in experiences, Noah’s Ark, and family festivals. This full-time, year-round role reports to the Associate Director of Noah’s Ark and Family Programs.

You will plan and oversee studio activities, coordinate educators, and collaborate with marketing and education teams while managing budgets and contracts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field and 2+ years of work experience.
  • Experience offering participatory cultural programs for children and families.
  • Ability to manage program details and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, support and implement participatory arts programs for families.
  • Convey Skirball and Noah’s Ark messages through programs and interactions.
  • Build schedules and oversee Art Studio, Archaeology Dig, and Bloom Garden activities.
  • Lead on-call educators and coordinate teaching artists and performers.
  • Collaborate on content, logistics, and marketing assets.
  • Maintain program budgets and generate contracts as assigned.
  • Attend staff meetings and represent Family Programs externally.
