Job summary

92nd Street Y Bronfman Center seeks a Program Coordinator to support children’s and family initiatives across the NYC-based program calendar, with 70% concentration on Shababa and 30% on Jewish Family Life activities.

You’ll coordinate events, manage registrations, assist with content and communications, and deliver welcoming, music-centered experiences for families with young children while partnering across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in children’s programming, family engagement, Jewish communal organizations or similar settings.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with children, families, artists and volunteers.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site support for Shababa programs and events, ensuring welcoming and well-organized experiences.
• Coordinate event logistics: room setups, materials, equipment, and execution.
• Greet families, manage check-in, and anticipate program needs while resolving issues.
• Set up and break down spaces and materials for programs and performances.
• Support year-round Shababa programming and follow up to improve patron experience.
• Assist with Jewish Family Life programs, holidays, and Hebrew School activities.
• Manage registrations, attendance tracking, inquiries, and provide customer service.
• Maintain program files, inventories, and media assets; assist with communications and social content.
• Provide music and production support for rehearsals and events.
