Job summary

The Arc of King County in SeaTac, WA is seeking a full-time Parent to Parent Coordinator to support families of youth with disabilities. You will coordinate peer matching, provide emotional support, and connect families to resources.

Under supervision, you will manage program activities, host workshops, moderate online groups, and ensure culturally responsive outreach, data entry in Salesforce, and collaboration with the Advocacy Team.

Qualifications

• Must be a parent or close family member of a person with a disability or special health care needs.
• Able to facilitate meetings and support people with diverse viewpoints.
• Ability to explain things in plain language for varied audiences.
• Experience with community outreach and engagement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the P2P program under supervision and develop program plans.
• Host resource fairs, meetings, and trainings for the P2P program.
• Provide emotional and peer support to parents of children with IDD.
• Maintain Salesforce data entry and program documentation.
• Moderate online P2P Groups and collaborate with volunteers.
