Job summary

Catholic Community Services of Western Washington seeks a Peer Counselor (Parent Partner) to support youth and families in home and community settings. You will help parents share their perspectives in treatment planning and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote recovery and safety.

The role is based in Olympia, WA, with flexible hours to meet families' needs and extensive training provided to ensure quality wrap-around services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 21 or older.
• Personal lived experience as a parent of a youth who received services.
• Ability to drive to family homes and community sites with reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to assess safety in homes and community settings.
• Availability to flex some work hours.
• Pass required background clearances and uphold CCS values.

Responsibilities

• Peer Counselors collaborate, provide support and help facilitate services for youth and their families.
• Help parent voices be heard in treatment planning and ensure team understanding.
• Work out of the FBH Olympia office with services in homes and community settings.
