Job summary

The Arc of King County is seeking a full-time Parent to Parent (P2P) coordinator to connect families of youth with IDD to peer support, resources, and trainings. You will host groups, provide emotional support, and help families navigate services within King County.

This role requires a parent or close family member of a person with disabilities. Responsibilities include coordinating program activities, partnering with volunteers, and ensuring documentation is accurate and timely.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to facilitate meetings.
• Ability to process and share information clearly in diverse formats.
• Ability to explain things in plain language for varied audiences.
• Proven community outreach and engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and host P2P/parent groups and trainings.
• Provide emotional and peer support to families of youth with IDD.
• Navigate resources and referrals for families in King County.
• Maintain up-to-date program documentation and Salesforce data entry.
