Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Peer Specialist to support Mobile Crisis Intervention Services in Milford, MA. This full-time position emphasizes using lived experience to assist individuals and families in navigating the care system and accessing community resources.

Responsibilities include psychoeducation, arranging follow-up services, and providing crisis support within MCI and Adult CCS as staffing allows.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Peer Specialist or certify within 6–12 months of hire.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and regular access to a vehicle.
• Basic computer fluency (Microsoft Office).
• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Convey hope and provide psychoeducation on recovery and self-management.
• Assist in arranging services and support transitions to follow-up care.
• Provide services in MCI and Adult CCS as staffing allows.
• Support crisis-related interventions and connect clients to resources.
