Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking an Associate to join our Private Client Services – Family Office team. You will handle full accounting processes for high-net-worth families, maintain ledgers, and prepare financial reports across multiple client accounts.

Working directly with wealthy clients and external advisors, you will support monthly closes, tax packages, and bespoke financial deliverables while upholding integrity and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Masters in Accounting a plus.
• CPA (or in the process of pursuing) preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical and writing skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Aufgaben

• Record and memorialize transactions for the family and third-party professionals.
• Handle full accounting processes: posting to G/L, general ledger, journal entries, monthly close, reporting.
• Manage bookkeeping for specific families: accounts payable and timely payments.
• Reconcile multiple bank accounts and assist with monthly/quarterly financial reports.
• Prepare annual tax packages and supporting documents.
• Compile and analyze financial information for entries and controls.
• Establish and document accounting procedures; interact with high-net-worth clients.
• Attend client calls; create concise deliverables; support ongoing client needs.
• Build internal relationships and participate in special projects.
