Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join a fast-paced team in Bourbonnais, IL. The NP serves as a clinical leader, partners with medical staff, and delivers evidence-based care across the lifespan.

Requirements include an NP degree, IL/IN license, strong clinical and communication skills, and willingness to work weekends/evenings. DOT cert is a plus; compensation ranges around six figures.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results.
• Perform procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, nail procedures, injections, DOT physicals, and occupational medicine services.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.
