Midwest Express Clinic in Chicago is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our expanding network of urgent and primary care clinics on the Southwest Side. You will balance clinical expertise with strong communication and teamwork to deliver evidence-based care across multiple locations.

The role requires an NP with IL/IN licensure, a lifespan scope of practice, and a commitment to service excellence. Compensation ranges and benefits are offered; weekend/evening shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision‑making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• DOT Certification (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including labs and imaging.
• Perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, splinting, and injections.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and ensure clear documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, physicians, and leadership to deliver high-quality care.
