Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Western Suburbs Illinois clinics (Lombard, Westmont, Willowbrook). The role leads clinical care, collaborates with Medical Assistants and physicians, and emphasizes evidence-based practice, exceptional patient experiences, and operational excellence.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s or Doctorate in NP with an active Illinois/Indiana FNP license, can manage patients of all ages, and demonstrate strong decision-making

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans using evidence-based medicine.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including labs and radiology results.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
