Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Chicago Lakefront network. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent and primary care setting, collaborating with care teams to ensure safety and service excellence.

Qualified candidates will have an NP degree, Illinois/Indiana licensure, and the ability to treat patients across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based family nurse practitioner care to patients of all ages.
• Collaborate with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, leadership, and physicians to deliver high-quality care.
• Balance clinical expertise with communication, teamwork and hospitality-minded patient care.
• Support clinic goals related to patient flow, efficiency, and quality metrics.
• Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
