Midwest Express Clinic in Bourbonnais, IL seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner to lead clinical care in a fast-paced urgent/primary practice, partnering with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, leadership and physicians to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care and an exceptional patient experience.

The role requires a NP degree, an active FNP license in IL or IN, and strong clinical decision-making, procedural, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited NP program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans utilizing evidence-based medicine.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including laboratory and radiology results.
• Perform procedures including: Laceration repair; Incision and drainage; Foreign body removal; Splinting; Nail procedures; Injections; DOT physicals; Occupational medicine services.
• Prescribe medications and therapies within scope of practice.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record.
