Job summary

Midwest Express Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner for the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. The NP will lead clinical care, work closely with Medical Assistants, Radiologic Technologists, and physicians to deliver high-quality, efficient care aligned with MEC’s standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and hospitality-minded patient care across multiple clinic locations, with weekend/evening hours and a focus on patient experience and safety.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in Illinois and/or Indiana.
• Ability to treat patients across the lifespan.
• Strong clinical decision-making and procedural skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic testing including labs and imaging.
• Prescribe medications within scope of practice and document in EMR.
• Provide leadership and collaboration with the clinic team.
