Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Orange, CT urgent care team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on procedural skills and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• State Medical License required.
• Controlled Substance Registration required.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner.
• PALS and ACLS Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Strong procedural experience including laceration repair, I&D, foreign body removal, and orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Perform common urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams, and specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
