Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all age groups in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will perform procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, and foreign body removal, while collaborating with physicians, nurses and specialists to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a State Medical License and Federal DEA Registration.
• Controlled Substance Registration required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications preferred.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner is required.
• 1+ year urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Perform common urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound management, splinting, and foreign body removal.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practitioners, nursing teams and specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
