Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Orange, CT is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality urgent care across all ages. You will work with a team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and nursing staff in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active State Medical License (NP) for CT or ability to obtain.
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner or FNP license required.
• DEA registration and CDS registration are required.
• ACLS/PALS certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across all ages in urgent care.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound care, splinting, foreign body removal.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to ensure quality outcomes.

Your Role

• Controlled Substance Registration
• Federal DEA Registration
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• Minimum 1 year of urgent care or emergency medicine experience preferred
• Strong procedural experience including laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and orthopedic-related conditions
• Relevant professional experience required
