Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Brookfield, CT seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner (Float) to join our expanding urgent care team. This full-time APRN role serves Brookfield and Ridgefield centers, offering a competitive salary and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active CT state medical license and APRN certification.
• CDS registration required.
• PALS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1 year of full-time Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound care, splinting, and foreign body removal.

Qualifications:

• State Medical License
• Controlled Substance Registration
• Certification as an Advanced Practitioner
• PALS and ACLS Certification
• A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting is preferred.
• Candidates must possess a strong background in performing routine procedures, such as laceration repair, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, and treatment of orthopedic-related conditions.
• Relevant professional experience required; this position is best suited for candidates with prior experience in the field.
