Bushwick Family Residence in Brooklyn, NY seeks a Family Monitor to provide safety and supportive services for families in residence. The role includes enforcing house rules, assisting families, and handling reception, registrations, and security rounds.

Responsibilities also cover coordinating visitor flow, transporting clients when needed, and participating in team meetings and case reviews. Comprehensive benefits are offered for full-time staff.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of relevant experience in a social services setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain the safety and security of all families in the facility including enforcement of facility rules and regulations.
• Maintain appropriate helping relationship with families and respond to their needs and concerns.
• Provide functions, including new family registration, reception of visitors, security rounds, and other designated functions.
• In the absence of a driver, drive facility vehicle for transportation of clients.
• Participate in scheduled team meetings and case reviews on assigned client families.
• Perform other related duties as requested.

Position: Family Monitor

The Family Monitor provides support services at designated locations at the family residence. Provides family assistance, such as escorts, incident reporting, and crisis intervention.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One-year relevant experience working in a similar capacity in a social services setting.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge.

Certifications that are required upon hire in accordance with regulatory mandates:

• Security License
• Fire Guard (F-02)

Certifications that are required within 90 days of hire – VOA will cover the cost:

• CPR/First Aid
• Coordinator of Fire Safety & Alarms (F80).
